Background

As a UI UX designer, It is absolutely essential to understand how the development process works. Understanding the capabilities and limitations around development can make or break your designs and either make for a well-oiled, seamless experience or a painful and disorganized one. I wanted to take all of that understanding a step further and learn the basics around development. I believe that true understanding comes when you can foresee the impact that your design choices may have on not only your developer but your timeline and budget as well. Problems may arise midway through a project with a tight scope. It's up to me as the designer to make decisions for my client and team that aren't going to cost a lot of extra time and money.
